Their still pushing the little or no money down method. A guy I know that's doing says Ben will inflate so the homes he's buying will double in price once inflation kicks in. So he's loading up on foreclosed homes right now. There are hoards of others doing the same thing. One home he purchased was going for $400,000 during the peak. He picked it up for $200,000.

All Betting that homes will bounce back once Benny trashes the dollar. He was right last time. He's betting he's right again. So are many others.

Maybe she should quit one of her jobs and use the time to learn some common sense.

Supposing inflation does come in soon - just who do these people 'snapping up' these houses think are going to buy these homes at inflated prices? I see no evidence employers are willing to raise wages. If prices go up it will be a race to the bottom to see who can still afford gas to get to work and buy enough rice and beans to survive - not bigger houses.

They're counting on a government program to "help" them afford a home...just like this program.

I think at this point everyone realizes the only entity spending money (or with money to spend!) is Uncle Sugar.

Wow. Just wow.

What a shame. This girl is 20 years old, and has gleefully signed up to be a debt slave for life. Poor soul - she is too young to have experienced any true downside in life - and she was a minor when the housing bubble took off. She has been tricked into believing that $155K for a gutted dump with no fixtures is a bargain, because based on her life experience, it is. She is already at nearly 120% LTV on the house, and while she may have fixed up the inside of her 'box' of a house, the outside is still a wreck with patches in the outside walls missing around the windows, postage stamp lot, etc.

Also, she passed up the opportunity to attend college, instead diverting the funds instead to purchasing the house. (I know, I know, useless degrees and all...but still - it would have at least given her a chance to work at something more lucrative than retail at the 3rd job - Macy's).

She is one economic hiccup away from losing one or more of those 3 jobs - esp. Macy's (!) Yikes. She has about $1,000 per month, maybe, to live on - in California! In the vid, she talks about if she does lose a job, she's willing to do any work, including cleaning lady - again - (!).

She passed up a chance to expand her value in the workplace in order to risk becoming a cleaning lady in order to support a pile of bricks!

THIS is the evil that the lies of all of these banksters and .gov fraudsters has perpetrated. Banksters: "Destroying lives, one loan at a time."

Would the IRS release the addresses and closing dates of all homes claiming the first-time home owners credit if presented with a FOIA request, or does that information fall under privacy exclusions? Fraud detection could be crowdsourced, and I wouldn't mind putting on my Stasi hat and ratting out the any local "investor" who claims the credit and then puts the house back on the market or rents it.

Ms. Tejada appears to be a complete idiot along with anyone involved in underwriting the loan. Wonder what she was paying in rent before she bought. Maybe she just saw the opportunity to get into a nicer place for the same or even lower payments than she was already making and knows she will go bust eventually. I think many are just starting to party until it all comes to an end.
